WordPress is the best CMS out there, it is the best way to build a website for you or your business. 30% of the internet is powered by WordPress and Google wants more of the internet in WordPress. You can create a WordPress website without learning how to code.
First you will need a domain name. – Domain is the “www.website.com” in the address bar. Domain names are around $10 to $15 a year and can be purchased at many places, but we recommend Namecheap or GoDaddy.
Hosting – Hosting is the land of your website and your website is the home. Hosting is also something that you can purchase at a variety of different places, but we recommend SiteGround and WPEngine. Most hosts have one click installer for WordPress. Most people use a WordPress theme, they are free or cost around $50 to $100 one time. Themes are the most cost effective way to build a WordPress website, building custom is another option but typically out of the normal person or businesses price range.

Marketing Consultant. Minneapolis. I've worked in digital marketing for several years, mainly working with businesses on overall digital strategy, including building and ranking their websites on the first page in search engines. Businesses want to invest in a successful website that ranks well on Google and is easy to add features, content and can be scaled. The problem is that the average hourly rate for a digital marketing consultant is $150. Many businesses don't have a budget to hire a consultant but could do much of the work themselves or by one of their employees if they knew how. That's why I created the Business Website Blueprint course. An easy, step-by-step guide to empower businesses to build their own, successful website.
